Description

The FOTON 5CBM Rear Loader Refuse Truck is mounted on FOTON 4×2 chassis, specially designed for compaction, collection, and transportation of refuse. The Rear Loader Garbage Truck consists of a sealed garbage tank, ejection plate, push shovel, and bin lifting device. The refuse truck is operated by hydraulic systems. The positive compaction against the ejector plate is used to enable the desired compaction to be achieved at all times for even loading. The refuse is compacted into the compactor by a compaction plate & the mechanism which enables the full body volume to be filled with compacted refuse.

Refuse Collecting Body

1. Body shall be fabricated from Q235 Steel sheets (5 mm thick floor, 4 mm side wall, and top plate) having a Hexagonal shape for better aesthetic and reinforced by front and rear stiffeners so as to withstand continuous operation at maximum imposed loads & without harmful deformation or excessive wear.
2. The body sides are equipped with extra heavy structural steel guide rails that will guide and support the ejector panel having UHMWPE / PTFE slider blocks provided on both sides of the ejector.
3. To prevent corrosion, the body floor is provided with optional stainless steel grade 304.

Tailgate

1. The tailgate shall have a self-locking/unlocking arrangement and raise to permit ejection of the refuse when the hydraulic valve is manually actuated.

2. The valve that operates the tailgate lift action shall be located at the front end of the body (far away from the tailgate) to prevent any harm to the operator when the refuse is being ejected from the body.
3. The hydraulic system includes relief valves to prevent excess pressure that may damage hoses, tubes, and other hydraulic components.
4. A safety valve is installed at the base of the tailgate cylinder to prevent rapid and dangerous falls of the tailgate in case of a hydraulic hose or tube rupture.

Hydraulic System

• Hydraulic gear pump connected to the PTO.
• Maximum pressure limits can be set according to customer requirements.
• The pressure is conservatively regulated to ensure the long life of hydraulic components.
